Rich Hays is a native of Kensington & Bethesda, Maryland. He studied Business at the University of Maryland and then eventually went on to a 2 year program for Film Production at the London International Film School in London, England. After years working in marketing and a stint working in Miami and Toronto in the Film Industry, Rich eventually settled in Wilmington, NC in 2001 after falling in love with the area during a family vacation.
The success of his business is in part a reflection of his warm and friendly personality, extensive knowledge of the area and outstanding communication skills.
Rich earned his Real Estate license in 2006 and worked p/t with a small boutique firm specializing in investment properties. Over the years, Real Estate has taken on a whole new level of passion for Rich as he has transitioned to full time as a REALTOR®/Broker with Intracoastal Realty.
Rich is a classic car enthusiast and enjoys driving and working on his 62 Belvedere and 73 Cuda. He is also active member with the New Hanover County Law Enforcement Officers Association. His wife works for New Hanover Regional Medical Center (Novant).
